Hello, my name is Michael Ray King. Poetry in Black and White is a project I’ve taken on to present fresh, unedited, “raw” if you will, poetry. Many of the poems written on this blog come from bizarre locations such as riding my bicycle and keying on my iPhone. When the poems comes, I write it.
I do have a number of poetry books (check my “Books” page), but the posts on this site will be new material. Please stop by regularly to read and hopefully comment. Heck, for that matter, subscribe to my site and get updated whenever I post something new! I’ll also be writing about poetry (from my perspective) and how I got mixed up in this genre of writing.
